George Spencer Designs have collaborated with celebrated British interior designer and antiques dealer Christopher Hodsoll on a striking new fabric collection that showcases four refined floral patterns.
Rooted in Hodsoll’s extensive archive, the collection revisits and reinterprets some of his most iconic botanical motifs, presenting them in fresh, sophisticated colour palettes. The partnership, developed alongside Tim Walters of George Spencer Designs, reflects a shared vision to create fabrics that merge traditional artistry with a modern sensibility.
“This collaboration brings back wonderful memories of my early years working with Geoffrey Bennison,” said Hodsoll. “We’ve reimagined favourite heritage designs, experimenting with scale and colour to give them new life. I’m thrilled with the outcome.”
The collection exemplifies Hodsoll’s enduring talent for blending classic influences with contemporary design, offering a versatile range that feels both timeless and new.

The collection features:
Meadow Flower
Featuring whimsical wildflowers and butterflies forming abstract stripes on textured fabric, Meadow Flower blends elegance with playfulness in a soft yet durable design ideal for drapery and light upholstery.
Arabesque
Arabesque showcases delicate floral and leaf motifs in fine line detail on soft linen, blending classic elegance with a fresh, contemporary artistry for an understated yet sophisticated look.
Palm House
Palm House offers a modern twist on the classic palm motif, featuring stylised white palms within decorative stripes on a speckled backdrop - an energetic, contemporary design available in five versatile colourways.
Hawthorn
Inspired by the Hawthorn plant, this versatile linen fabric features cascading leaf patterns that create dynamic visual depth, blending contemporary freshness with timeless tactile charm.
